Obsidier Tower is a new landmark in the New Administrative Capital of Egypt, located about 45 kilometers east of Cairo. The tower is set to become the tallest building in Africa, standing at a height of 385 meters, with 75 floors.

The tower is designed by the renowned architecture firm, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), and is being developed by the Egyptian real estate company, Al Ahly Sabbour. The tower's design is inspired by the natural formation of obsidian, a volcanic glass that is formed when lava cools rapidly.

The tower's façade will feature a series of triangular panels that will create a unique texture, resembling the natural formation of obsidian. The panels will be made of glass and aluminum, and will be angled to reflect the sunlight, creating a shimmering effect.

The tower will house a mix of residential, commercial, and office spaces, with a total built-up area of 165,000 square meters. The lower floors of the tower will feature retail spaces, while the upper floors will house luxury apartments and offices.
